We are inviting our dear friend, winemaker and importer Fernando, Chateau Baby Girl (and Otros Vinos) to launch the newest offering in the CBG array

2025 Welcome to Paradise is Xarel-lo from a 40-year-old plot farmed by the legendary Toni Carbó of La Salada, in El Pla de Penedès. A beautiful and secluded plot planted on clay and limestone soil around 20 kilometres from the sea. The fruit was picked relatively ripe for a slightly more complex profile, lightly foot-pressed and macerated whole bunch for 9 days before being pressed off in a manual basket press. Bottled with no additions after 9 months elevage between stainless steel and glass demijohns. Like all CBG cuvées, this wine wouldn’t exist without the help of friends, and particular thanks go to Toni, who farmed the beautiful fruit, and the wonderful Lucy Chilvers, who gave us her time and energy and let us vinify and age this wine in her beautiful 900-year-old cellar in El Bedorc, Piera.
